If anyone has ever suffered from insomnia you know how bad and debilitating it can be. Recently I have been struggling with it. It has gotten so bad that I am lucky if I get 2 hours a night if that.

People will tell me oh just sleep as if I am staying  awake on purpose. I get frustrated when they say that. I love to sleep and believe me if I could I would.

I have tried everything including working out, counting, deep breathing and even drinking warm milk with cinnamon. Googling away natural ways to fix it has not brought me any relief either.

I broke down and took a couple of sleeping pills last night. They worked and I got 6 hours of dreamless sleep. It was so good. You get desperate when you are awake for a week straight. Things start to get pretty bad. You get emotional and very very mixed up. It is also very bad for your physical health.

Let’s hope this will end soon without the help of sleeping pills…

Lack of sleep is a nightmare…..
